Flashback

At school We are learning to write a flashback for a different perspective and use show not tell. I have been writing about a person called Sam in the story called "The Anzac Puppy". I had to be Sam in the story . I enjoyed doing it because it's based on fact and it's part of history. The story was written by Peter Millet and illustrated by Trish Bowels .
I think I should work on making sure the descriptive words make sense in a sentence. I feel like I have done well. I just need to make sure my sentences make sense and NO mistakes.

It all began in the year 1915. I was young then. It was 16 degrees. The wind was bitter and outside everywhere was frosty on the Western Front. Crash!Smash! The guns were blaring making my ears ring. They were ringing and ringing. But I couldn’t help it. I was trudging in the trenches. Under there it was scandalous and muddy. Everything above me was in ruins. Everything was frosty but I had to keep on going. So I proceeded and stomped. But I had a friend with me. A Great Dane puppy with white fur that was like the shining moonlight. Black spots that were like the bullets of the gun.

I kept on trudging. But I can’t take it no more. I’m so vexed I feel like I have sorrow in me. I’m heartbroken and filled with anger and getting high tempered. My heart making me panic. Blood going everywhere in me. I could see my veins in the flesh of my skin. Bloodshed everywhere. They were like red paint oozing out of the courage and brave men. Panicked-stricken by the thought of seeing brave and courage men gone rapidly like the bullet of the gun. Sergeants, Lieutenants and corporals. I stood there like the brink of silence. Wishing it was over.     File:Harlequin Great Dane in 1910.jpg - Wikimedia Commons

My very intrigued Leader Creature

For the past few days, I have been doing things about my leader creature. It was challenging because you have to write facts what they do as a leader. I hope you enjoy my info about my leader creature. It was interesting because I had to make my creature into clay. Then paint it. Comment on my Leader Creature and give some me helpful feedback's. :)

My Basic Facts

In class I have been busy trying my best to do my basic facts. It was really challenging because I need to think very rapidly to put my answers down. That was for timing basic facts. But when doing the sheet I felt a little bit confident. I tell you I don't like maths and numbers ain't my friend.

The Terrifying Board Game

I have to make my own bored game. It wasn't creative how I wish it looked. But I did the best I could. I had to make a board game that was from a book I read.

My Foxy-Locks Story!! We have been creating our own type of A Goldilocks story. It was challenging because I had to be creative

Foxy-Locks
Hello. My name is Foxy-Locks. I’m going to tell you a story of how I got myself into a house which some animals lived (and how I got my new name).

So. Once upon a time there lived a girl (me),
With a blue and pretty dress and golden curls you see
A girl who’s eyes is like the sea.

I am a girl who loved having adventures and exploring. My mother (who I lived with) is a ghastly mother. She has dark wicked eyes, dark thick hair that went everywhere over her face, Her lips were thin like thin ice. . She was nothing more but a hot-tempered mother and also pale. She wouldn’t let me eat anything one night and I got hungry. But one thermal day I decided to run away. Run deep in the forest. But as I ran, soon I got myself too far that I was lost. So, lost like a lost puppy, I was scared, frightened, and panicked-stricken. With no food and the feeling of hunger, no clean fresh water to drink and getting dehydrated I was no where. For days I tramped in the deep, dark forest. I was so exhausted. But out of the blue I saw smoke...

I knew there was a house somewhere,
I thought I could be near,
With a relief depression on my face,
I tried speeding like a cheetah to that place.

There lived in that house was a family of Foxes. Daddy Fox, Mummy Fox and two small foxes whose name are Fred and Ed. They live in a house that was made in hard and strong bricks. The windows were clean and sparkly like crystal glass. The bricks were painted brown but it shone and dazzled in the afternoon golden sun. The roof was painted pure red like rubies like the scorched and the warmth of the sunset before night comes round. There were  beautiful flowers standing from each side of the house.

“Let’s eat the soup Mummy fox,
I have cleaned up my room and took out the abhorrent socks,
So I can put it in here.
He was pointing at his tummy
Mother fox chuckled and said, “Ok darling dear”.
For Ed her youngest fox new the soup was yummy.

But apparently, all of the scrumptious soups were scorching hot. “Let’s go and play a game somewhere in the forests” says Daddy fox, “so that when we come safely home. The soups would already be cooled down nicely. So, the Foxes proceeded in there quiet footsteps (not like a bear thundering down the track in the forest), to their game. Now this is where I come in. As I made it to the house I gasped. The house was brilliant! It was pretty. As I walked in I smelt food. It smelt delicious. As I walked into the small kitchen which were like living in a box, I saw four bowls of soup all in the same type of bowels. They were all purple with white stripes. I was so hungry that I rapidly tried to find a spoon.

As I found a spoon,
It looked like the shiny glistening full moon.

I got the spoon and tried the first bowel which was bigger than the lot. My depression on my face was red like chille. “Ah!!! This is so boiling hot! Ah! I fell dumbly on the floor and tried to find a a cup to drink plenty of water since I was thirsty. For two minutes I was fine. Now, I’m getting a bit anxious for the next bowl. I tried it and it was cold like the ocean. Why!!! As I was about to try the next one I heard the front door creak. As I turned round there stood foxes?  “ What do you think you’re doing? “She’s eating our soup!!! Said one of the young foxes. “ Calm down Fred don’t panic”.  “I am so sorry. I didn’t mean to eat your soup, you see I have been travelling for a long time in the woods and- ‘calm down you’re self child’ which I think is Mrs Fox. “Wait you’re not angry with me? “No” they all said. “We had a lot of visitors coming to our place to eat. There was Wolf and Bear. But we didn’t expect a human bean” said Mr Fox. “It’s actually human being”. “Well that doesn’t matter”.

So, I found out that the foxes were friendly,
We ate soup together contentedly,
We sat on  couches and chairs to watch TV.
“Let's have her in the family,Said Ed.
“What’s your name said Fred.
“My name is actually Goldilocks.
Then Father Fox said “then let’s make  you as Foxy-locks!!

And that is my Foxy-Locks Story!!!

Basic facts

At school I have been doing my basic facts. I really need to improve on my 1000's. My reflection is in the last slideshow.
